REPTILE EXPERIENCES
FEED the TORTOISES & PRIVATE TOUR
This unique Reptile Experience allows you to get up close and personal with our African Spurred & Aldabra Tortoises. You'll interact with these gentle giants, as they eat right from your hand. After feeding the tortoises, you'll get an abbreviated tour of our center. You’ll also have the chance to meet other reptiles and amphibians that call Riverside Reptiles home.

Age restrictions – must be at least 4 years old to participate

Any child ages 4 - 11 must be accompanied by paying adult while feeding the tortoises.

*Participants will be required to sign a liability waiver before scheduled experience. RREC staff reserves the right to end the experience if the participant does not adhere to the rules, endangers themselves or others, or displays inappropriate behavior.
RETICULATED PYTHON ENCOUNTER
Get up close and personal with one of our Reticulated Pythons: Kaa, Tarzan or Julie. All of them range from 14 - 16 feet long. These pythons love to explore and slither around! During this encounter, you will get to socialize with, and touch the python. You'll also be able talk with an experienced animal handler to better understand their behaviors, and learn fun facts about giant constrictors. You are encouraged to take as many photos as you’d like!

ZOOKEEPER ADVENTURE!
Have you always wondered what it was like to be a zookeeper? This Reptile Experience will give you a glimpse into a day in the life! Join our staff for the morning and you’ll learn about diet, handling techniques, enrichment, and much more! Your adventure includes cleaning, feeding, and interacting with some of our animals. The use of cell phones/cameras is prohibited while working. RREC staff reserves the right to end the experience if the participant does not adhere to the rules, endangers themselves or others, or displays inappropriate behavior.
PRIVATE ANIMAL ENCOUNTER
Do you want to get a little more out of your visit? Then our Private Animal Encounter is what you want! Up to five people will get to meet three animals of their choice in a private setting. Choose to meet Panda the Tegu, Lotus the Burmese Python, Spike the American Alligator, or one of our many other educational animals!
